Loyola University Maryland, 2020-2024
I am a recent graduate of Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore who recieved their Bachelors degree in May of 2024. I majored in Communication with a specialization in Advertising and Public Relations and had a minor in Political Science. At Loyola, I feel like I have been able to connect with my peers and professors on more interpersonal levels in a way I believe I would not have been able to at other institutions. As a graduate, I am eagerly searching for a full-time position within the fields of public relations or advertising.

Writing for Public Relations
In this class, taken during my junior year I learned to write a variety of Public Relations documents, including press releases and corporate backgrounders, in the Associated Press Style.
Advertising Copywriting
Like Writing for Public Relations, this course taught me about how to write for an advertising students. Throughout the semester, I was tasked with writing copy for billboards, print ads, brochures, and more.
Digital Tools
A communication class that teaches a variety of digital applications that people in communications careers would need to know. Including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Express.
Case Studies in Public Relations
A communication course on different public relations situations from real life and how they were handled by public relations professionals.
Public Opinion and American Democracy
This political science course touched upon public opinion and polling data and its effects on elections and party platforms.
Social Media Advertising and PR
In this course, centered around social media marketing, I took part in service-learning where I helped develop a social media strategy for a local Black and Veteran owned business in Baltimore.
Senior Capstone in Advertising:
In the spring of 2024, I was involved in the senior capstone which worked as a boutique student-run advertising agency for a local Baltimore Chiropractor and Counseling service as our clients. As Director of Public Relations for the agency, I created an effective public relations strategy with a small public relations team. Our strategy was created to expand the mission of our clients and their recognition in the greater Baltimore area through well-rounded and hyperlocal tactics. The plan was pitched to the clients at the end of the semester.
Club Involvement:
Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA)
A professional organization for students in communications to advance their knowledge and skills. Weekly meetings may have speakers, resume workshops, etc.
History Club
A university club dedicated to learning new parts of history, with weekly meetings on new topics allowing members to do research and present their findings.
Alpha Delta Sigma
The national advertising honors society.
Newcastle University, 2022
In the fall semester of my junior year at Loyola, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the United Kingdom. I took classes in politics and history at a globally renowned university. At Newcastle, I got to experience and learn new things that would not be available to me at Loyola. I had the chance to meet and collaborate with students from not just the United Kingdom, but from all corners of the globe as well.

Policy and Politics of the European Union
In this course, I got to learn about the European Union and its policy. Many international students from the E.U. were in this class so I got to hear many different perspectives about the organization and its politics, something I would not have been able to experience at Loyola.
The Supernatural: The Cultural History of Occult Forces
This history course touched upon why people believed in supernatural beings and forces centuries ago. I learned many research methods in this module and read a variety of primary sources.

King Kullen Grocery Company, 2021-Present
Sales Associate, May 2021 - July 2022
As a sales associate, some of my tasks included the processing of sales and customer service, reviewing everchanging sales and promotions, resolving customer inquiries, and monitoring transactions and the flow of traffic at self-checkout stations.
Bookkeeper, July 2022 - Present
As a bookkeeper, I was moved to the customer service desk and the back office of the store. In this position, I was responsible for handling, counting, and depositing, the cash in the office and the store. I oversaw transactions for New York Lottery, Western Union, Money Orders, and returns to provide satisfactory experience. As well as manage the sales associates.
Greyhound Ambassadors:
Tour Guide, January 2022 - May 2024
Since my sophomore year, I have worked on campus as a Greyhound Ambassador, a tour guide for prospective students and their families. In this position, I provided information on a variety of aspects of the university and spoke about my personal experiences. Public speaking was a skill I improved upon in this position.
